"Söll erfrischt" (Söll refreshes) in many ways - culinary, physically and in stamina. A dip in the new lake in the centre of the village is also an aspect of this.
The Ahornsee with depths down to eleven metres has been providing a fun place to cool down for locals and visitors alike since summer 2012.
With a surface area of over 10.000 sqm the new bathing lake is also used as a snow-making reservoir for Hochsöll.
The Ahornsee has four jetties, showers, a children area with reservoirs and water stations, a new kiosk and deckchairs and sunshades.

The Ahornsee snack bar is open from 10th of May until 30th of September 2018.
The lake is open for swimming from 31st May until 2nd September 2018. Additionally it's open on the weekends before (19-21 and 26-27 May).

Lake Ahornsee, Söll

There’s plenty of refreshment to be had in Söll in terms of both food and drink and physical activity. You should include, of course, a refreshing summer swim with family or friends, and the ideal spot is the up to eleven metres deep Ahornsee in Söll. On hot days the centrally located lake, on the way to the cable car, is also a great place to cool off.
