Getting There

Road description: We drive on the Highway 76 to Deutschlandsberg. We drive through the centre, pass the Indoor swimming pool and park on the parking space of the castle. We walk through the gof the castle and reach the first big place of the castle. From the castle wall we have a wonderfull view over Weststyria and the “Dämmerkogel”.

It goes on and we pass the castle-restaurant and hotel, go over a Wooden bridge with irritating strips to the Castle cash. The countless Showrooms with a lot of different Exhibits amaze the children. There are a lot of stairs in the tower but we could overcome them with two people helping. Isabella had 37kg when we went there and we had the active-wheelchair with us – this one has to be pushed by someone! The Torture Chamber did not only scare the children but also us adults.

Afterwards we took the Asphalt pavement / Castle way to the Inn named “Stöcklpeter”. Here we got excellent warm dishes.
