Tour/Height: 1.415 Meters
Time: Half a day. Easy.
Road-Length: 1.5 Kilometers.
Consistence of the Road: Macadam pavement which is a bit bumpy and cliffy – however You can also take the Asphalt road. You can use this Way also with an Electronical Wheelchair.
Toilet: You can find a non-accessible Toilet in the Restaurant “Seestüberl”.
TIP: In the Restaurant “Seestüberl” You can get typical Austrian food.
Road description: We go off the Highway A2 at “Pack” and go in the direction to Hebalp (Hebalm). We take the second parking area at “Seestüberl” and walk by the Restaurant in the direction which brings us to the Lake. After a little raising we see the wounderfull Hebalplake. From here we walk against the clockwise around the lake to see the wonderfull panorama view.
There are several places where we can stop and relax. During the summertime You can swim in the lake. But we were there during Autumn when the water only had about 8 degrees – this was a little bit too cold for us. Above the lake you can find a wonderfull second Loop Road. However this Way is a bit small at one point (Parking-space-sided) and some Roots are growing there so we had to lift the Wheelchair. But with two people that was no problem! After this we reach a free place where you have a miraculous view at the TRIGLAV SUMMIT and the “Klippitztörl”.
For those who can not take the small Way with the roots: There is a fork at this point from which you can see the Street. Here you can walk down back to the Parking area which is about 3 Minutes away.
Of course you can have a Picnic on this Hiking path – you have to bring the Food with you! And do not forget your Swimming-outfits during summertime!
We got the information that you can drive to the Rehbock Hut. We did not do so, but maybe You can do it and tell us if it works.
